President – Brian Manuel

Brian Manuel works as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner at Carr, Riggs, & Ingram, LLC out of the firm’s Tallahassee office where he manages assurance engagements for local for-profit companies, non-profit organizations, and departments and agencies of the State of Florida and other governments and municipalities. Brian also performs and supervises consulting engagements for a broad range of organizations primarily involving forensic analysis over historical grants, contracts, and third-party managed programs for private and government organizations. Brian started his career in North Carolina where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Appalachian State University, Boone, NC.

Brian moved to the Tallahassee area in 2012. He is involved in his local community where he serves on the Board of Directors of the Suwannee River Area Council of the Boy Scouts of American and the Board of Directors of 2-1-1 Big Bend, a public resource for human service information and provides a 24 hour emotional support, crisis counseling, and suicide prevention hotline. Brian has for several years volunteered time to the FSU College of Business in working with their business incubator to help teach student and young entrepreneurs about business planning, financial record keeping, and tax compliance. Brian also serves on the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants Young CPA Committee where he serves to promote the accounting profession in the State of Florida and the advocacy work of the Association primarily for young CPAs.
