Secretary – Tracie Hodge

Tracie possesses over 20 years of professional experience with more than ten years in a leadership role. Her expertise lies in finance, operations, program management, strategic planning, vendor relations, public relations, and government contracting. Prior to joining the Department of Children and Families, Tracie served as Chief Financial Officer for Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend Region. While in this role she oversaw all aspects of the finances, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reporting to board. She has two decades of financial management experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity.
Since the start of her career in the early 90s, Tracie has held various supervisory positions with other non-profits building and leading finance teams with proven success in budgeting and controlling expenses. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, she provided oversight to child welfare operations, education, and healthcare. She is passionate about diverse programming across the state of Florida to ensure that all children have quality healthcare and education. Her commitment to improving services to all children is based on a premise that the community should be engaged in all aspects of a child’s life. Tracie has a MA in Organizational Management and a BA in Accounting. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
