Training & Events

Every year, the Tallahassee Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) offers several different training and networking events throughout the year. These include bimonthly luncheons and dinners, along with the two-day joint fraud conference in September.  These events help to facilitate discussions on recent issues and experiences regarding fraud examination, as well as offer attendees a chance to network and meet others in the field.  For more information regarding these events, please refer to the information below:

Bimonthly Meetings – Luncheons

In 2019, we will be offering six luncheons with one hour of continuing professional education credit (CPE) available for attendees.

The luncheons/dinners are held at the Holiday Inn at
2003 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32301.

Admission is $20 per person. Members of the Tallahassee ACFE pay $15, and students pay $12.50.

Joint Fraud Conference

In 2017, The Tallahassee Chapters of the ACFE and the Institute of Internal Auditors began a two-day joint training conference that normally is schedule for the fall of each year.  The event features high-quality subject matter experts from both national organizations, and offers 16 CPE hours along with opportunities to network with your colleagues.
